Let’s face it. Wearing a mask can be difficult, even if at this point, we should be used to it. I still don’t. So I have been tried hundreds of different masks until I find the best mask to use for work.
I have done it all. From the funny masks with animal face or my favorite tv show like The Money Heist print, to the high fashion designer mask, passing for all kind of disposable ones (even the halloween ones).
The reality is that you cannot have it all. You have to decide. For me, the best mask to use for work, that follow Tarylen Cleaning covid protocols, need to have two important factors:
Durability. This is extreme important. Durability doesn’t mean use after use, it mean during the time that you use it.
Second, Breathable. We spend hours under the mask. We need the best quality to be able to perform and not be running out of breath.
The perfect one.
So what I decide after so many trials and errors, is left the way that they look, their price, or materials out of the equation, and go for a basic good quality, three layers, disposable, surgical mask.
They simply work. Please do not buy the 1,000 for a dollar amazon packages that break one second after you out them on. Go for the good quality, 3M preferable. The basic but efficient, white and light blue, mask.
Now something that I notice during the high peaks of Covid, in doctors and airplane pilots, is the use of double mask. So I do too.
I love good fashion. But being able to dispose the mask after each of use, is a must. I stock my purse and my car with them, so they always fresh, and at hand. And in a world were we all use mask, this classic ones match always any outfit. Never look out of place.
