If you’re seeking the chicest of fall experiences, Aspen is your destination. This charming town boasts groves of aspen trees that turn brilliant shades of gold and fiery red in the fall. Take a leisurely drive on Independence Pass, and you’ll be treated to jaw-dropping vistas that are worthy of a high-fashion photoshoot. Don’t forget your camera; you’ll want to capture these autumn haute couture moments.

For a dose of nature’s elegance, head to Rocky Mountain National Park. This iconic park transforms into a painter’s palette during autumn. Spring Cleaning / Deep Cleaning season is here! Little by little, the temperature increases, you can smell the newly bloomed flowers, and colors are everywhere. I want to share with you my 10 top secrets to bring the season inside our homes.
Declutter. Don’t fear getting rid of old objects that do not serve you anymore, old clothes that keep reminding you how skinny you used to be, and old pieces that you got from the in-laws that you didn’t like in the first place. Get rid of them! Here is my Fav company to arrange pick-ups.
Fresh Air. Open the windows, yes, I know, I’m messing with the air conditioner/heat perfect temperature, but let the fresh air get in and circulate all over your house. One hour first thing in the morning is the best. Not only it cleans your lungs, but also boosts your mood, lowers your heart rate, increases energy levels, and even improves digestion. Read this if you want to know more.
Neutral colors. Keep your house neutral-colored and play with colorful small accents each spring. Off-white sofa with accent pillows and a throw? Just divine! Green! Green is the color for this 2023 Spring, but you don’t need to follow the trends. You do you!
One essence. Think about your body and how you will use different smells for deodorant, body lotion, soap, and perfume. It can be overwhelming! Same with your home, pick one subtle smell you can use for all your smell products, so your house has ONE single signature smell. According to research, Vanilla is the most liked smell by most people. You can’t go wrong with this.
Pets and kids. Use this time to also declutter their spaces. Change the kitty litter box and get a fresh one, get new socks and underwear for kids, pack memories, and keep only the toys/gadgets that they like now, they change tremendously every six months.
Pantry, fridge, and freezer. Take everything out, look at the expiration dates and you will be amazed. Most of the items you didn’t even know you had are expired! Don’t buy them again, if you kept them there for 6 months, you probably don’t need them. Clear everything up!
Towels and bedding. I have a non-negotiable tip here! 100% cotton always. Buy good quality but non-expensive, so you can change them as needed. You do not need 20 towels filling up your linen closet, you need 2 sets per person. I love Marshalls or Costco for good and affordable quality bedding. (Well, my very secret place is the RH outlet – two hours away, but totally worth it).

As of Feb. 18, 2022, Boulder County Public Health’s two public health orders requiring masks in public indoor spaces and in schools have expired. What this means for us and for our clients and what is our Cleaning Services COVID protocols ?
“Starting my day making my bed, having my closet color-coded, all my pencils sharpen, or a detailed list of “things to do” (when it was not a thing yet) was the base of my success.” — Pam Brewington (serial entrepreneur)
Since I have memories, my mom always has her house impeccable… perfect decor, shiny hardwood floors (the old kind that you buffer and wax at least once a week by hand!), never dirty dishes in the sink, all clothes ironed, beds perfectly made, polished silverware. “All this” without any of the modern life advantages… no vacuum cleaners, no dishwasher, no washing machine or dryer…”All this” also working full time and also coming home to cook a 3 tempo meal from scratch each day… hence the reason why I’m an only child, I guess. She had help anyways, there always was a maid/nanny that helped her with the housework and me: braiding my hair, ironing my school uniform, polishing my shoes, so I look perfect all the time. It was not a one-person job, it was a “woman confraternity” helping each other to make it happen.
Despite this, my room was constantly a mess to the point that my mom eventually gave up on me. Clothes, toys, books, dirty plates, candy wrappers under the bed, on the bed, behind the bed. It was not pretty and a constant reason for the family tension. I didn’t understand back then what was the point to tidy up my room, pick up my dirty clothes or make my own bed…didn’t make sense and sounded like a complete waste of my time.
When I moved to college, during all my college years and first years of work, my brain developed in a way that overwhelmed me, daily,…millions of abstract ideas, creative ideas mixed with facts and science and rational thoughts…speeding hundreds of miles per hour inside my head. There was only one way to have peace and calm: A neat, clean, and minimalistic environment. Making my exterior in order, helped me to control the interior creative chaos.
Starting my day making my bed, having my closet color-coded, all my pencils sharpen, or a detailed list of “things to do” (when it was not a thing yet) was the base of my success.
I realized that having controlled and perfect surroundings setup a white canvas for my ideas to shape, develop, evolve, and tangibilize. It worked and still does.
Cleaning is important to me because it is the tool that I use to be successful, that I use to share that peace of mind with my peers, that I use to reset my world from the outside to the inside.
Cleaning is important to me because it is the start of everything, it sets the tone of your work, establishes your standards, and pretty much works as a springboard to jump far away. Like my mom, I also have the help of course (and you should too).
Let’s face it. Wearing a mask can be difficult, even if at this point, we should be used to it. I still don’t. So I have been tried hundreds of different masks until I find the best mask to use for work.
